every single new calathea leaf unrolls beautifully and then gets crispy brown edges within two weeks. i mist it daily, it sits in a bright bathroom, i use tap water. people keep telling me different things — what actually causes the crispy edges?

tap water was it for me. switched to rainwater from a bucket on the balcony and the next three leaves came out perfect. misting daily honestly did nothing except give me a wet shelf.
