The promise
30 days, money back, no questions asked.
Every field guide, bundle and course comes with the same promise: if it isn't for you, you get your money back within 30 days of buying. You don't need a reason. You don't need to argue. I'd rather refund you than have you own a guide you don't use.
How to ask
- · With an account: open Your purchases and press Request a refund next to the order. Two clicks.
- · Without an account: your download page (the link from your delivery mail) has the same button.
- · Or just write: hello@leafjournal.app with the email you bought with. A human reads it.
What happens then
A human (me) approves it, usually within a day. The money goes back through Stripe to whatever you paid with — banks typically show it within 3–5 business days. The download link from that order switches off; that's the trade. A few days later you get one short mail asking whether everything went alright — answering is optional, but honest answers are what make the next guide better.
The fine print, honestly
- · The 30 days count from the day you bought, not the day you first opened it.
- · Past the window? Mail anyway — edge cases get a human answer, not an automated no.
- · Refunds always go to the original payment method. That's a banking rule, not a choice.
- · Purchases are also handled by Stripe (they're the merchant of record), so their receipt mail offers its own support route — both end up in the same place.
Written by the same person who reads the refund requests. No hard feelings — plants are hard enough as it is.
