Module 5 · Spotting trouble early — the weekly walk
Recall + plans

Make it stick
Two quick things that do more for retention than re-reading ever will: turn the module into if-then plans, then pull the key facts back from memory.
Tie it to something you already do
Finish each line — an intention pinned to an existing habit is far more likely to happen than a vague resolution.
- → If it is my chosen walk day, then I will look at every plant and add a line to the log.
- → If I find a pest on one plant, then I will move it away from the others and check its neighbours the same day.
- → If a plant has changed since last week, then I will note it and act while the change is still small.
- → If I am checking a plant, then I will turn a few leaves over rather than only looking at the tops.
Quick recall
